Welcome to Dodo Holidays. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.dodoholidays.com (the “Website”), operated by Dodo Dreams Ltd, and the services offered through it, including airport and private transfers. The Website also features eSim products supplied by our partner MyT (Mauritius Telecom); these are not sold by Dodo Holidays — visitors interested in an eSim are redirected to MyT’s own website to complete their purchase directly with MyT. By accessing the Website, making a booking, or using any redirection feature on it, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. Parties & Roles
The Dodo Holidays platform involves two distinct Mauritian companies, each with a clearly defined role. Understanding this structure is important for your booking.
1.1 The Website Operator – Dodo Dreams Ltd

The Website is owned and operated by Dodo Dreams Ltd, trading as “Dodo Holidays”.

Dodo Dreams Ltd does not directly operate tourism services. It acts as the digital sales and booking platform through which tourism services provided by Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd are offered and sold.

1.2 The Licensed Tourism Service Provider -Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd

The transfer services sold through the Website are provided by Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd, which holds the relevant licence issued by the Mauritius Tourism Authority (MTA), as required under the Tourism Authority Act of Mauritius.

1.3 “We”, “Us”, “Our”

In these Terms, “Dodo Holidays”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer collectively to Dodo Dreams Ltd and Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd, each acting in its respective role described above. Where a specific obligation belongs to one company only, that company is named expressly.

1.4 Your Contracting Party

By making a booking through the Website:

  • You enter into a contract for transfer services with Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd, the MTA-licensed operator.
  • You enter into a contract for the use of the Website and related digital services (booking platform, payment processing, customer communications) with Dodo Dreams Ltd.
  • For eSim products, no contract is formed with Dodo Dreams Ltd. Where you click on an eSim promotion or link on the Website, you are redirected to MyT’s website to complete the purchase directly with MyT. Your contract for the eSim and the underlying telecom service is exclusively with MyT and is governed by MyT’s own terms and conditions.
2. Definitions
  • “Customer”, “you”: the person making a booking or purchase through the Website.
  • “Service”: any transfer service offered on the Website.
  • “Transfer”: a road transport service between an agreed pickup point and a drop-off point, provided by Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd.
  • “eSim”: a digital SIM product supplied by MyT (Mauritius Telecom). eSim products are promoted on the Website but sold and provisioned directly by MyT on MyT’s own website.
  • “Partner”: any third-party supplier whose services are promoted or referenced on the Website, including MyT.
3. Eligibility & Account

To make a booking you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. By booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf and that you will share the relevant booking information with them.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking, including names, contact details, flight numbers, dates, and times, is accurate and complete. We are not liable for service failures caused by incorrect information you have supplied.

4. Services Offered
4.1 Transfers

Private and shared road transfer services in Mauritius are provided by Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd under its MTA licence. Transfers are subject to our Booking Policy, including provisions on flight monitoring, waiting time, luggage, and vehicle allocation.

4.2 eSim Redirection (MyT)

The Website features eSim products supplied by our partner MyT. Dodo Holidays does not sell, resell, provision, or charge for eSim products. If you are interested in purchasing an eSim, you will be redirected to MyT’s own website, where the purchase is completed directly between you and MyT.

By using the eSim feature on the Website, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your contract for the eSim and the underlying telecom service is exclusively with MyT and is governed by MyT’s own terms, conditions, and privacy policy.
  • Payment for the eSim is collected by MyT (or its payment provider), not by Dodo Dreams Ltd.
  • All matters relating to the eSim — including purchase, activation, refunds, technical support, coverage, data speeds, device compatibility, and complaints — are handled exclusively by MyT through its own support channels.
  • Dodo Dreams Ltd has no liability for any aspect of the eSim product or the MyT telecom service, including any failure, delay, defect, or dispute. Any claim must be raised directly with MyT.
  • Information about eSim products shown on the Website is provided for convenience and may be updated by MyT from time to time. We do not warrant its accuracy or completeness.

 

5. Bookings, Pricing & Payment

All bookings are subject to our Booking Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

  • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment has been successfully received through the Website’s secure online payment system.
  • Prices displayed at the time of booking are the final prices and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices for future bookings may be updated at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your booking is the one shown at the moment of payment.
  • Payments are collected by Dodo Dreams Ltd through third-party payment providers and remitted to Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd for the transfer services delivered. Full card details are not stored on our servers.

If a price displayed on the Website is obviously incorrect due to a technical or human error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected booking and issue a full refund, even after a confirmation has been sent.

6. Cancellations, Modifications & Refunds

All cancellations, modifications, refunds, and no-show situations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it carefully before booking.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information, including flight numbers, pickup addresses, and passenger counts.
  • Be present at the agreed pickup point at the scheduled time and remain reachable on the phone number provided.
  • Comply with reasonable instructions given by drivers, particularly regarding safety.
  • Behave respectfully toward our staff, partners, and other customers. Drivers may refuse or terminate service in cases of aggressive, abusive, illegal, or unsafe behaviour, with no refund due.
  • Ensure that you and any travellers in your party hold valid travel documents, visas, and insurance where required. We are not responsible for issues caused by missing or invalid documentation.
8. Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers hold valid travel and health insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings for the duration of their stay. Neither Dodo Dreams Ltd nor Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd provides travel insurance, and we are not liable for losses that would normally be covered by such insurance.

9. Children & Minors

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for all transfers unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Child seats may be requested at the time of booking; availability is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing. Parents and guardians remain fully responsible for the supervision and safety of minors during the service.

10. Liability

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd operates in accordance with the conditions of its MTA licence. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The total liability of Dodo Dreams Ltd and Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd (combined) to you in connection with any single booking is limited to the amount actually paid by you for that booking.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, missed connections, loss of enjoyment, or loss of business, except where caused directly by our own negligence.
  • Dodo Dreams Ltd, as Website operator, is not liable for the on-the-ground delivery of transfer services, which is the responsibility of Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd under its MTA licence.
  • Neither company is liable for the acts, omissions, or content of third parties not under our control, including airports, airlines, hotels, restaurants, public attractions, and telecom providers (including MyT).
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under the laws of Mauritius.
11. Force Majeure

Neither Dodo Dreams Ltd nor Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd is liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, cyclones, floods, road closures, accidents, strikes, civil unrest, government action, pandemics, and natural disasters. Where a service cannot be provided due to such events, we will offer rescheduling or a refund as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to Dodo Dreams Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use related to your booking.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act 2017 of Mauritius. Dodo Dreams Ltd is the primary controller of personal data collected through the Website. By making a booking, you consent to your data being shared with the parties required to fulfil your booking, including:

  • Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd, for the delivery of transfers;
  • Drivers and any sub-contracted operators engaged by Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd;
  • Payment providers, for the processing of your payment.

Note that when you are redirected to MyT’s website to purchase an eSim, MyT collects your personal data directly under its own privacy policy. Dodo Dreams Ltd is not a controller or processor of that data.

14. Communications

By making a booking, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your booking (such as confirmations, reminders, and changes) by email, WhatsApp, or SMS. Marketing communications, where offered, will only be sent with your separate opt-in and can be unsubscribed from at any time.

15. Reviews & User Content

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content to the Website or our social channels, you grant Dodo Dreams Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and promote that content in connection with our business. You confirm that the content is your own and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

16. Regulatory Compliance

Tourism services offered through the Website are provided in compliance with the Tourism Authority Act of Mauritius and the conditions of the MTA licence held by Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd. Where any regulatory requirement changes, we reserve the right to update these Terms and the services offered accordingly.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any service provided by Dodo Dreams Ltd or Briton Consultancy & Travel Tours Ltd shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Republic of Mauritius.
